With much deliberation, thought, and desire to meet needs of those we serve, we have decided to cancel the dementia symposium and Green House conference scheduled from May 18 to 20, 2020 in Little Rock, Ark.

Please check back here for details about a virtual symposium that will be held sometime this summer

Al Power photo.jpgWe are excited to introduce Beyond Memory Care: A Dementia Well-Being Approach, a new event that is open to all senior living, memory care, and aging services professionals interested in forward-thinking approaches to dementia care.

World-renowned geriatrician and author Dr. Al Power will lead this dynamic and highly interactive event as keynote and emcee. The symposium is built upon Dr. Power's approach to dementia care, which focuses on well-being for individuals in all living environments. This framework challenges many of our long-held practices and provides an innovative approach that can lead to sustained improvements in the lives of people living with dementia and their partners.

This event offers an opportunity to earn up to 8 CEUs/contact hours for nurses and nursing home administrators.

A reception in the evening will bring together the day's speakers, Green House partners, sponsors, and supporters for an unparelleled networking event. Attendees are welcome to stay for the keynote presentation on Day 2 with Dr. Joycelyn Elders and tour a local Green House home.
