Green House Workshop
DUE TO THE UNCERTIANTY OF COVID-19, WE HAVE POSTPONED THIS WORKSHOP TO A DATE YET TO BE DETERMINED.
This two-day workshop takes place at Saint Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich, R.I., home to four Green House homes. This event is an opportunity to learn more about phenomenon that has created nearly 300 homes in 32 states and set the standard for person-directed, relationship-rich living environments.
Day two of the workshop takes a much deeper dive into the key factors that affect the development, financial viability, and ROI of Green House homes. This day is highly recommended for the following stakeholders who are ready to take the next steps toward developing the Green House model: senior living architects, developers, and experienced operators.
In addition to an examination of the evidence-based research behind Green House homes, participants will learn about its positive financial, clinical, and quality of life outcomes, as well as the following:
- The latest GHP services, tools, and resources, as well as insights into how and why it has garnered worldwide media attention;
- An understanding of GHP values and essential practices, and an exploration of how the model is reflected in various communities;
- An opportunity to speak with leadership and staff from an operating Green House community about their experiences;
- A review of the Green House 2.0 initiative and our Best Life dementia care approach; and
- A path forward for taking the next step toward bringing Green House homes to your community.
